Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This page explains, in plain language, what information Color Me In collects, how we use it, and how you can delete it.

Accounts are for parents and guardians

Only a parent or guardian creates and manages a Color Me In account. Children don't create accounts. A parent can add child profiles inside their own account, and those profiles are always managed by the parent.

What we collect

  • Parent account details: your email address and login details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google.
  • Child profiles: the nicknames and age settings you enter for each child.
  • Photos:photos you add to My People. We don't store them. See below.
  • Prompts: the descriptions you type to make coloring pages and worksheets.
  • Payments:payments are handled by Stripe. We don't see or store card numbers.

Photos

Photos you add to My People are never stored on our servers. We can't see them.

When you save a person, a smaller copy of the photo is sent once to an AI model (OpenAI, through OpenRouter). It writes a short text description, like "short curly hair, round glasses." We keep only that description and the name you give.

A small thumbnail stays in your own browser so you can tell who you saved. It never leaves your device.

Deleting your information

You can delete child profiles and photos yourself at any time from inside the app. To delete your whole account and its information, email us at colormeinapp@gmail.com from the email address on the account.

Other services we use

Stripe (payments), Manifest (app hosting), imglink.ai (image generation), and OpenRouter (AI text and photo descriptions). We don't use analytics or advertising trackers right now.
